The local product is guaranteed by the productor, as opposed to global food that has not registered designations of origin, allows to cut down the costs of the process and of the transport. “From farm to table” food cannot be transported for a long time and cannot get over 70 km from the farm where they have been produced.
This kind of food is very cheap because of lower cost of transport, the absence of commercial intermediaries, given that the vendor is the farmer. This permits a direct contact with the nature, the animals, the land and the knowledge about all its products.
