Lacryma Cristi's story is a mix between myth and reality, legend and popular belief, by contributing to creating a mystery around this celebrated wine. Legend has it that Lucifer, banned from Paradise, stole a piece to create the Gulf of Naples. The place where he sank became the Mount Vesuvius. Jesus Christ, realized about the theft, wept a lot and, from his tears which fell on the Vesuvius, sprang a brand new type of vine from which was born this Wine: Lacryma Christi.

Our wines spend a few months in stainless steel tanks, with the exception of some selections that age in barrels.
